Care
& Feeding of Safe Scents
These instructions
will keep your Safe Scents working for years!
As the crystals begin to dry out, simply add water to refresh.
If you prefer to color your Safe Scents, add a few drops of food
coloring to the water before adding to the jar. NOTE: The crystals
will expand so please do not overfill the jar when refreshing.
Refreshing will naturally dilute the fragrance oils used in Safe
Scents.
We guarantee your original purchase to last six months or more.
If you think your Safe Scents is not working in a room - walk
out of the room to the outside, take a deep breath, and then come
back in. Chances are your senses have gotten used to the fragrance
and once you come back in you will again be able to sense the
fragrance in the air.
For a more intense fragrance release, place on a candle warmer
or in a potpourri pot. For large rooms we suggest placing 2-3
Safe Scents in the area.
Safe Scents are NOT EDIBLE!
KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN AND PETS!
Safe Scents are non-toxic but contain fragrance oils which may
be harmful if swallowed. SEEK MEDICAL ATTENTION IF YOUR CHILD
EATS THESE.
Clean-up
If your Safe Scents jar should accidently spill, simply scoop
the crystals up using the edge of a piece of paper or light cardboard
and return them to their home in the jar! Any liquid spilled on
a hard surface can be easily wiped clean. If it should spill on
a carpeted area, blot the area to soak up excess liquid and follow-up
with any commercial carpet cleaner.
Safe Scents crystals are non-hazardous and approved for disposal
in solid waste landfills. DO NOT LET THEM GET INTO YOUR DRAINS.
